The Guided Floral Experience is a thoughtfully curated service for couples who want a hands-on role in their wedding florals while still achieving an elevated, cohesive look. It bridges the gap between full-service design and traditional DIY by providing structure, direction, and expert guidance every step of the way.
Design + Direction: We begin with a personalized virtual consultation to understand your wedding aesthetic, color palette, and priorities. From there, we translate your inspiration into a cohesive floral plan, complete with curated flower selections and design recipes that are both beautiful and achievable.
Sourcing + Prep: To ensure quality and consistency, Light & Well handles all floral sourcing and procurement. Your blooms are carefully selected and fully prepared in advance, so you can focus entirely on the creative experience.
Guided Design Session: The day before your wedding, we join you and your friends at your chosen location for a structured 3-5 hour design session. During this time, we guide you step by step through creating your arrangements, demonstrating techniques, refining each piece, and ensuring everything feels balanced, cohesive, and elevated. More than just florals, this experience is designed to be meaningful. It creates space to gather, create, and celebrate with those closest to you. The result is a floral story that feels personal, intentional, and beautifully refined.

Not at all. This experience is designed to guide you step-by-step, with professional instruction and support throughout the entire process.
What supplies will I need for my design session?
All necessary supplies for your floral designs will be thoughtfully handled for you. This includes items such as vases, mechanics (chicken wire, floral tape, zip ties, foam or cages), and any other materials required to execute your floral plan. Please note, during our virtual consultation, you will choose your desired vases and vessels from our shop.
Light & Well will procure everything in advance based on your design, ensuring each item aligns with your overall aesthetic and functions seamlessly within your arrangements. These supplies are included as part of your overall service investment, just like your florals.
For the design session itself, we also provide water buckets and professional floral shears for your use during the session. This allows you to focus fully on creating, without needing to source or prepare anything on your own.

What if we need more time than the scheduled session?
The experience includes a structured five-hour design session. Additional time may be added in advance, based on availability, to accommodate expanded floral needs.
